It's Ã,£29.99 on pre- order on amazon and they will put the price up once they are told about this so get your pre-orders in now just incase!

Activision have always been greedy since infinity ward began to make call of duty.

COD5 have already been punted at that price-mark and it will not be out until December!!.

Seems they are going for the big greedy at the moment as I saw COD4 (not WAW) in a major retail shop for Ã,£35.99 the other day.....and it is two years old already..........

And to make matters worse I have a problem with WAW at the moment which so far has taken a month for them to tell me absolutely nothing apart from attempting to blame every other programme on the machine apart from WAW.

I thought I was being helpful by installing it on another machine to see if it worked on that but all it did was give them a further opportunity to procrastinate and insist on DXDIAG for both machines.........I mean for Christ sake.......just how expensive would it have been just to send me another CD.........ONE WHOLE MONTH and they still are asking me to send further information.......one little piece at a time and never a checklist........I am so damn frustrated right now:taz:

I have every Incarnation so far but this experience may put me off from the next one......Customer Service is JUST CRAP.....obviously do not know their arses from their elbows!!:ranting2::ranting2:

I really don't think its will go for that price, i think they have their wires crossed with dollars. Still 8+ gaming sites with price at Ã,£29.99. Tell everyone its going to be high then comes out at low price, so more demand. Usual marketing ploy.....

That is almost the price of the limited collectors edition, which is insane btw:
Clicky clicky

When most PC games come out at about Ã,£20-25 (on relatively big sites like amazon and play) and expensive ones hit Ã,£30 there is no way that a game coming out for the PC will sell for Ã,£55.
I'm sure it's just the console versions. To be perfectly honest at this rate I'm surprised there are any left. On amazon the Ã,£55 is crossed through an it shows as Ã,£45 for Xbox and PS3 versions.

Most games are now coming out on the pc with more support and content available, cheaper prices, better online support etc etc. It's a bigger initial cost, about Ã,£400 for a suitable computer to Ã,£800 for an i7 with great graphics that will top out most games for a while (except crysis). They support xbox controllers, and a keyboard and mouse so you can choose.
Xbox costing Ã,£250 the Ã,£150 difference in price is 10 new games (that's Ã,£450-Ã,£550 on a console), or if you prefer slightly older games, pc budget games are even cheaper than new. Budget games drop to a couple of pounds and console cost Ã,£5-15. It's now the smart choice again.

Yeah it Ã,£55 for those people that use Consolse for FPS!!! it not that for the PC it will be the usual price I reckon.

it will probably only be that expensive on consoles over the christmas period.

Its going to be Ã,£34.99 for the PC (play / Amazon / HMV / Game) , Ã,£44.99 and Ã,£69.99 for the special 'hardened' addition for the xbox, and Ã,£119 for the prestige for the PS3 :sideways:
