After having a few issues in the last couple of weeks with my "old" puter, I decided to upgrade.
Kreg was kind enough to offer assistance in speccing out individual components.

This is what I've ended up with::woot2:

Scan.co.uk had the first batch of items shipped on the day I placed the order and I had them 8:15 AM the following morning.
They shipped the HDD's , the SSD and the Tower as soon as they were back in stock.  So I am quite please with their service.

All I am currently waiting on is the new GPU. :taz:  Which could take a while due to very high demand. :crying:

OC'd the CPU to 3.4Ghz last night and had it stress-testing over night, and it's all looking good.  Will be pushing for a stable 3.8 over the weekend.

THANKS again to Mr Ducky for his patience and support, I've been asking alot of questions lately :worship: it's much appreciated! :worship:

I've got pretty much the same spec on order, just had a mail from overclockers telling me my stuff's on the way, but, just as you are I'm waiting on the gfx card.

nice spec:thumbsup: should play just about anythig for the next 2 yrs or so

I came into this world with nothing,
through careful management I\'ve got most of it left.

Yep...that's what I'm hoping for. Made sure I have a beefy PSU so I can shove in a 2nd card, when and if needed without having to upgrade anything else.
I'm very pleased with it......certainly worth the money.

Can't wait for the GPU to arrive :woot2:

Impressive spec there Peanuts :thumb: must of cost a pretty penny!

What setup did you have before this one?
 Bring on the randomness!
Apparently I actually exist! Or maybe it was the drink?

I have (or had, as my brother has allready claimed it as his own)
a Q6600, with 4x1GB of unbranded RAM and a GT9600 (which is currently in this machine untill the new GPU arrives).
and I'll leave a 500GB HDD in it.

Have you been given any sort of idea how long your cards going to take to turn up Peanuts?

They said it could take 2-3 weeks possibly longer :(. It was out of stock everywhere else I checked too.

Not good, I'm waiting on a 5870 too, so I know your pain man :(

That's a good power supply, my brother has the same one and it powers his system with an overclock and dual graphics and many many HDDs and optical drives. As for the rest it sounds nice. Similar to what I plan on getting sometime after christmas.
