I am looking for a subscription on The Economist... Using their main site, I can get a year for 915 DKK (62% discount). But, using, say, MagsDirect, I can get it for 650 DKK. Is that site any good? Where do you guys get your mags? :g:

Edit: I have bought it in the past and I know discount rates in the 60's is rather good, from Economist themselves... so 62% is pretty good. Since that other site can sell me it from 2/3 the price of that, it sounds rather wicked?

usually i go direct with the subscription company however, tesco do alot of cheap deals if you have clubcard vouchers, might just be uk only though. Or buy a couple of issues of the magazine see what they charge and maybe there might be a good deal in there.

One magazine i have subscribed to for years change their prices everynow and then and i have gradually decreased down to Ã,£9.99 per quarter when usually it was Ã,£5.99 per magazine per month by cancelling or asking to move to their new tariff.

Its the luck of draw well for me anyway for how long you need to wait for prices to come down.

"Even in a justified war, only one place there is for the dead; if someone loses - it\'s only you. Prime Ministers leave without a scratch - when everything ends they mourn the people; but I want to live on and mourn them"

I don't think my point came out clear. I already have the mag and know how cheap they can be. Yet, there are some sites who still kicks 35% øf the price. Are they fake or what?
