My Hero lost its ability to scan for wireless today. No matter what I tried it wouldn't activate the wireless connection. Lots of Googling later and with still no luck I resorted to a factory reset - success :D

Then the joy of having all my contacts, calendar and mail with Google was demonstrated when it all just synch'd back up. If I'd registered with AppBrain then all my apps would have been there too but I'll do that before the 2.1 rom is released.

A pain losing wireless but pretty painless getting back up and running after a factory reset :thumb:

Nothing important so happy to start with a clean slate.

You could try 'SMS Back-up and restore' As those nice folks at Apple say
"There's an App for everything" :)
