Hi everyone,

I'm new to this PC gameing thing and having a few problems with COD4/Punkbuster. I play for about a minute and get kicked off with PunkbusterA exe issue. Anyone got any ideas? I'm using a brand new alienware x17 lappy running windows 7. Firewall is set up to allow Punkbuster A+B.

Ps I work with Sulky :sad: and has recomended this site as a cracking on-line group.

Regarding you problems, are you using Steam if so make sure you have disabled the in game system.  Check under settings.  

Have you manulay updated pb of you Google update pb you should find out how to.

Welcome to the forum:D

Steam Community in-game is one of the problems at the moment.
If you open Steam settings, click IN-GAME tab, and uncheck the box "enable Steam cummunity in-game" that should sort that problem.

Can you post the exact error message that you're getting?
Have you tried uninstalling/re-installing PB with this tool?

As Toby said, it's cod4 night tonight, so hopefully you'll get sorted and join us

we are both on nights this week..... but the steam thing i pointed out earlier hopefully that will do it for him
