Hi folks, I'm looking into email encryption as I often have confidential data sent to or from colleagues or clients.  The good old PGP PKI approach is all well and good but it is a total pain in terms of everyone having to have a public key and then me collecting them and encrypting accordingly.  I've also looked into Identity-Based Encryption (IBE) services like Trend's Micro Email Encryption.

I need something that will encrypt the email and any attachments to keep the contents secure for their eyes only.

Has anyone got any suggestions for services/products/software to look into?  Something that costs is acceptable, something that's free is best and it has to work for the whole range of Outlook/Firebird/web-based (like gmail) and the whole nine yards.

Your help would be appreciated!  Thank you.

About the easiest and cheapest way we found is to use encrypted zip files for sending the attachments.
