My suggestion would be to have a light blue badge (same color as the competitor badge) or something and these are the current RGT members (forum name) agastrat, hubbah, milli, ayla, guru, ammon, devlan
Maybe there\'s something to be said for being different. We are who we are. What more could we ask for?

Done. The blue badge is just a place holder as I'm not a Photoshop whizz when it comes to graphics i.e. I have no idea how to exactly match the existing blue badge colour to a new badge. The last one I did was the CS vet badge and I was lucky as I found the exact same CS logo we use on the web and so just cut and pasted it onto a blank blue badge I have. Not so lucky with the 'W' WOW logo. So I just grabbed the Green badge and messed with the hue & saturation sliders. It's blue Jim but not as we know it.... :eyebrow:

Do we have any PS zen masters that can become our new Zootoxin? Also I haven't added this to the forum script yet so if we add new players to the raiding group I'll need to add the group and the badge separately for now.

Whatever's gone wrong it's not my fault.

I take it we need to go through the guild ranks and assign Raider badges now then!

Already done. Everything is set except the badge colour matching the normal blue.

Agastrat, Hubbah, Milli, Ayla, Guru, Ammon and Devlan                   now have the badge and forum permissions. So they 'should' be able to see the Boss Compendium forum. Regular WOW Guild Members (socials) should not.

Nice one Smilo ... Sorry for the work but I think its closed a loophole that's been a thorn in our foot for a long time

Quote from: JonnyAppleSeed;369675.......that's been a thorn in our foot for a long time

It's 'thorn in our side' not 'thorn in our foot'. The phrase originates  as 'Thorn in our flesh and is a quote from  Corinthians 12:7. The  original Greek of the Bible says, "σκόλοψ Ï,,ῇ  ÏƒÎ±ÏÎºÎ¯." Transliterated this is "skolops tÄ" sarki." Translated this is  "thorn in flesh."

QuoteTo keep me from becoming conceited because of these surpassingly great  revelations, there was given me a thorn in my flesh, a messenger of  Satan, to torment me.

You are very welcome

Note for smilo, I've noticed today that I couldn't see some new posts that was posted up today (9th april) in the boss compendium and in the ji-kun thread but I could see another new post that was put up in the durumu thread. I know about it cause TL, whitey and jas could see them but I couldn't so not sure whats wrong, perhaps you could have a look when you got time?

I've checked and your forum permissions are all good. I don't think there's any way to see some posts in a forum but not others? I'm at a bit of a loss as to what it might be.

Arrgh, I just sent you a PM about this, I had not read this bit yet!  Sorry!

Wondering if the forum counters or something need resetting, or if we need to poke Gandipedia?

Ok here's the crucial bit of info. If I am a member of two user groups i.e. DMR Guild Member and DMR Guild Raider and one group gives me access to a forum but another group denies me access to the same forum then the 'give access' always overrides the 'deny access'. In the same way a yes beats a no and a higher value for say PM message limit beats a lower one. So for a example DMR Raid Leaders are not allowed to have signature files but Supporting members are. So a Raid Leader who is also a Supporting Member gets a sig file but a Raid Leader who is not a Supporting Member does not, as the Supporting Members give rule beats the Raid leaders deny rule.. Well that's the theory. I've been through all the DMR groups and forums and manually reset everything.

DMR Guild Members can see public DMR forums plus the DMR Members Only forum but not the Boss Compendium, DMR Raider Leader or this DMC Council forum

DMR Guild Raiders can see public DMR forums plus the DMR Members Only  forum and the Boss Compendium, but not DMR Raider Leader or this DMC Council forum

I cannot work out how someone can see some posts within a forum but not others? I'm checking VB advice forums etc but at the moment it has me stumped, as far a I can see we either have access to a forum or we don't, not just selective posts within a forum.

I'll be back when I have a resolution.
