Maintenance Window Downtime FYI

Dear All,

This is a courtesy email to inform you, of some service disruption. On Saturday 7th April 2012 we will be transferring Killer Creations servers from their current location at Centro data centre, to the Gaming Deluxe Suite at their data centre in Cheltenham.

Please note Customer IP’s will not be altered throughout this process.

There will be massive befits affiliated with this move which will see our network infrastructure upgraded, to 10Gbit interfaces and routine capacity will be bought online to service our growing customer base. Dedicated on site staff will be available to support hardware issues when they occur. The new cooling systems in the datacenter are Green 1.1 PUE.

Please be assured we will do our utmost to make this process as smooth and quick as possible.

Our Timed schedule for the move is:

Saturday 7th April 2012

8am Power off all systems at Centro.
9am All Systems Powered off, cables Removed and Transferring to Transportation commences
10am Main line Cisco router is sent ahead so it is brought online first before hardware arrives at new site.
12am All Systems are now in High Class packaging and onboard Transportaion
4pm All Systems arrive at new site
5pm Re racking of systems is well under Way
6pm Powering up of systems commences and services start to resume
11pm Final racking of systems Complete and all systems back online

A 4 month server with game deluxe is 64 slots: £153.79 compared to the £177 3 month term with killercreation we paid in January so we might be able to get the lower price on renewal keeping our server ip too!

£153.79 is a quarterly price, not a 4 month price.  So not quite as good as it sounds.
