Well quite clearly the admins don't see the point so I'll drop the subject.

My point was serious and I was only trying to help out - I just figured that there is certainly an element of people signing up just to get the access then played once only to never come back as it wasn't their bag.

I just assumed this was an "opt-in" community - but slowhand clearly disagrees so I'll keep quiet (like most alpha members on the list)

Then again if we all want to look popular and have a long membership list.....

Chimpboy, I hope we have answered the question with due honesty and attention too, I know you weren't implying our responses were glib.  

What was suggested is a lot of work but nobody had defined the benefit (or looking at it from OB's perspective, the problem).  As for a long list for popularity purposes?  Well that's not really an issue otherwise we'd publish the original MHPCS list which is many times longer.  But it does give us a base of people who were once interested in our way of playing the game.  Maybe they stayed, maybe they didn't, maybe they forgot to come here and play on our servers at all after registration, but we can at least remind them that we are here.  From such marketing acorns do strong oaks grow.......
