Beta 2 patch errors

Anyone who may be having problems installing the Beta 2 ED patch, uninstall the client and reinstall. Not sure if it was maybe limited to mine, but when the unpatched version wouldn't work (Bad Request - they must've changed the Auth API) I installed a new client. That didn't work either.

I think that other client was either corrupted or they quickly released another one shortly after that one. I uninstalled it (again) and reinstalled and it worked.

I also had the 'bad request' message, so I logged on to my account,  ->downloadable content and downloaded the upgrade which took a mere 3 hours.

Downloaded after breakfast (install from scratch to be sure)

Logged in and loaded, but would get past the load screen - jammed on ship spinning - on Solo and Online. Ran out of time this morning, or I'd have checked the Tutorials.

Good to know. Might be I didn't properly connect my Joystick. I'll try again with the original file before restoring from backup. Thanks.

Beta 2.01 due later today. I tried loading this morning before work. Installed from scratch. First load froze after 1 frame on the spinning ship, had to kill the process. Second load I got into the game and was at one of the new stations. Can't say i'm immediately keen on the new ship UI, mostly because it seems fuzzy rather than because of colour or layout changes. Took off, flew around the station for a bit admiring the view, got out of mass range, tried to enter supercruise, black screen and second lockup. Then I had to go to work.

Fingers crossed 2.01 has dropped by the time i'm back from the gym after work.

If you have a custom bind config say with joystick axis settings etc. when you load up the game the controls will be Keyboard and Mouse.

Just change from Keyboard and Mouse to Custom and your previous Beta settings will be reapplied. No need to remap everything.

Now help me, where's the commodities market gone?
