USB Foot Operated Switch

[Lameduck]

Bought one £6.65 from Amazon, as I'm running out of fingers using keyboard and joystick with all the new games.
Ideal as a 'press to talk' on teamspeak and be configured to any key, either as an single 'click'
or held down for the duration of speech. No micro switches to wear out, works by interrupting an IR beam.
Appeared a little flimsy, but withstood me accidentally standing on it.
Have also seen on Ebay for appox. the same price.

Smashing find Bob, I bought 2, in case I can think of a second thing to do with my feet! Maybe a 5 toes model might be good, 5 toes 3 buttons, BigToe, Little Toe, 3 other in between lol. Can you tell I tested this out?

You got monkey feet?

Webbed the middle 3 don't operate separately.

I was actually thinking, the model Bob selected is perfect as it's light plastic and as long as you don't stomp on it heavily should last. Many others are like guitar foot pedals which take a lot of effort to switch. So even better find although I dropped my order to 1 to try it out first.

I've ordered one too. Thanks, Bob :thumb:
