Played for a brief while last night.

OMG!

The ASP cockpit is like a cross between "Minority report" and a greenhouse in space. It is amazing.

Galaxy Map is borked in VR though. Agreed.

Was fuzzy until I turned off AA, then it got sharper. Not perfect, but far more readable.

The impression of depth is hard to describe. Fuel scooping and looking down between you feet to the boiling sun surface below you. Epic stuff.

Tried some demo applications and tried Half-Life 2 - there is a "VR" version of Steam's Big Picture mode called "Steam VR".

I've had to had a small break from that game as play it when everyone has gone to bed IN THE DARK using isolated headphones.
Gave me the collywobbles!

Didn't see a xenomorph though! Guess I'm too early on in the game. Found a virtual tour of the Millennium Falcon on Oculus Share Beta, which was nice.
