If you were both alive in 1982 and could read then you read/played The Warlock of Firetop Mountain by Steve Jackson and Ian Livingstone. Someone marvelous has gone and turned it into a Dungeon Crawler that's now available on Steam. Looks like a fairly faithful conversion and gets some positive reviews.

So any of you old dungeon crawlers fancy a crawl then this might be worth a look.

Whatever's gone wrong it's not my fault.

I still have some of the books and would be interesting to see how they adapt this as well as the real thing.
"The oldest and strongest emotion of mankind is fear, and the oldest and strongest kind of fear is fear of the unknown." "Never explain anything."

Aye me too. I loved them.

I remember trying to map the mountain when at school.

Was that with parchment and ink?
"It's hard, but not as hard as Arma!!!" Tutonic
"Over the centuries, mankind has tried many ways of combating the forces of evil... prayer, fasting, good works and so on. Up until Doom, no one seemed to have thought about the double-barrel shotgun. Eat leaden death, demon.." Terry Pratchett

I came into this world with nothing,
through careful management I\'ve got most of it left.
