Steel series get a good feedback on here but are towards the £100 mark but can find deals

I too would recommend the V2 SteelSeries, a bit above your price range but excellent and worth the extra pennies. I'm pretty sure I picked mine up for about £80 but can't remember where I got them from but definitely worth a good search of the interwebs as the price can vary quite a bit.

How about £13 :D

I saw a favourable review of these recently on Engadget. Build quality isn't great (obviously) but a great price.

I've had a set of Turtle Beach PX 22 headphones for a while. I'm no audiophile so decent sound quality was all I was after, which is what they provide. The main plus is that they cover the ear but are really comfortable. I've had headphones that become unbearable after a few hours but the PX22's can be worn all day. Obviously what's comfortable for me might not be so for you, but they are about £50 which fits your budget.

Whatever's gone wrong it's not my fault.

I picked up a turtle beach z22 headset in some deal for not much over £20. Kind of a small step down from Smilo's px22's I guess, but they do the job okay - I don't use them much outside occasional gaming

Plantronics eSport RIG 500E.

£100, but £50 from BT at the moment with code PLTSALE50. 2 headsets in one really, you get a set of open and a set of closed cups each with their own drivers. You just clip the ones you want into the headband and switch over the replaceable mic.

Myself and Sn00ks bought these and I find them very comfortable and excellent 7.1 sound. They are USB and they are the lightest headset I own.
