Unfortunately it looks like I won't be able to come due to unforeseen circumstances.

That should free up a place for someone on the reserve list, and free up a room in the hotel.  I'll call the hotel in the next couple of days.

Can you speak to BrotherTobious re the room please?   Rather than cancel the room it might be easier to let him transfer it to the next person who was on the list (I think he has a room list of people wanting to transfer into the hotel from the Griffin etc as well as a queue list).
