Yep you read it right, so i was looking for specs so i could see if i could get an off the shelf cooler to replace my POS stock cooler on a hp motherboard(MS 7826 kalli)

so i googled the heck out of it, best answer is below (not really)

Please just read the page, as although the page is Ok (according to google), the links off it may not, you have been warned

http://www.digitaltechglobal.com/cpu-cooler-fastening-issue-with-ms-7826-kaili-motherboard.html

i particularly like the 1st line, CPU cooler fastening issue with MS-7826 (Kaili) motherboard is commonly caused by incorrectly configured system settings or irregular entries in the Windows registry.

wait a min... I can fiddle with windows config and registry to sort out my slightly higher temps after getting a new case, sod it i'm major fiddling and ill overclock the beast....YES!

seriously what the actual f***, are people that gullible when looking for info on computers?

It does indeed seem badly worded, but isn't the returned error code "CPU cooler fastening issue with MS-7826 (Kaili) motherboard " just a really stupidly named error code?    The problem seems to be software in origin, hence the software fix, but for some reason the error code assigned to it is way out of reality!

Either way, it's a damn funny error code with a lousy explanation.   Good luck getting it fixed, I hope the software tool works!

Absolutely they are :roflmao:
