Hi boys and girls,

The humble store sale has just started -

https://www.humblebundle.com/store

If you guys see anything that you think would go down particularly well at the LAN, played on the big screen, can you post about it here?

We will look through any replies and if we think it will float our boat we may pick it up for the upcoming LANs.

Thanks for the help all!

going to suggest something which might be a chuckle.

A good few of you might have seen myself and possible Albert or Taggel playing a first person shooter form Napolionic period. Could be a laugh storming a farm house with a team bayonet charge with Oldie carrying the Flag.

On Humble for only £6.74

The name of the game might have helped :blush2:

Holdfast: Nations At War

excellent game, played the previous incarnation Battlegrounds 2 ( a mod for hl2) for a few years, line battles are good fun

I came into this world with nothing,
through careful management I\'ve got most of it left.

It's well worth that knock down price, a dMw team in the game would be awesome. Or a ship of dMw players.

Is it something that can be played around the TV? Really I am looking for that sort of thing, stuff like Gangbeasts and Overcooked where we can plug 4 controllers in and all have a bash. This looks like it could be fun, but seems to be something we'd all need to individually own, no? Correct me if I am mistaken and cheers either way for the input chaps! :D

I might be wrong mate, but why would more than 1 or 2 people need keys for Gang Beasts? Surely it's a multiplayer on the same PC game so if everyone bought that sort of around the TV style game hardly anyone would use the keys at the actual LAN. I thought you were looking for multiplayer games that individuals needed to license to play at the LAN, like
unreal or COD4 etc.

Sorry, I wasn't clear. I was saying that this thread was looking for any more (new) games like gangbeasts / overcooked that work well around the big screen TV with 4 controllers plugged in.  I meant that the game you guys are talking about looks more like each member would need to own it, run it on their own machine, and that it isn't the sort of game you'd play around the TV.

So although that game looks like it could be quite entertaining, it wasn't exactly what I was after. Doesn't look half bad though so as I said above it is still useful info :)

What could possibly go wrong with this one? although I do give it 2 mins before Penfold has fallen over board and we have to stop to pick him up.

I would like to recommend crawl, its one i wanted to play last lan but never got round to playing with people. Old style game that i think could go well at a lan. One person plays the hero the others play to kill the hero and take there place.
