Benny

Whenever I nose about in here, someone is whinging about something or other, upgrading this or that, and I've yet to see a lower spec system than mine. So my question is...

Am I missing out somewhere. I'm running my trusty nforce2 and 1400 at aobut 1.8, that's it, 1/2 gig memory, and a Radeon 9200.

Everything looks of to me. Even Doom ran alright, although it's still a dogs a4se of a game.

So come on, should I buy a new graphics card, or a new proc or sommat?

If it does what you want it to do and you are happy with the way it does it, then keep your money in your pocket.  And under absolutely now circumstances pay any attention at all to upgrade addicts like me.

However, if you are desperate to upgrade something  then a new Graphics card would prob give most improvement for the money -> link

My new 6800GT is in stock, allocated and awaiting packing. I should get it early next week.

Lets hope it goes more smoothly than getting the new central heating installed (w****rs)

Well, my PC should be able to handle everything and fails spectacularly. Tho that could be due to only having 256MB RAM :(

And having to put my old mobo back in cos my gfx card didnt like the new one :(

Oh and I only have a 1.2Ghz processor, and Radeon 9800 Prophet majipalarty

nice gc card choice hope it is the xfx variant as tht rox! As they said apbove benny if you want to upgrade anything just think of what you wnat it to do! far cry and doom3 wouldn't hardly run on my pc so i got 256ram from ebay for £29 to add my total ram up to 512rambus ram. Now it runs really smoothly! So maybe the cheapest upgrades can be the best!
