dMw LAN VIII artwork competition

It's been a while since we organised the official dMw LAN t-shirts, so I thought I would ask people if they would like to submit designs for a comemorative 'something' for dMw LAN VIII.

When we get the designs back we'll see whether they suit a t-shirt, polo shirt, mug, mouse mat etc and we'll see what we can come up with to commemorate our eighth community LAN.

All entries should be either posted here using your own webspace or emailed to me using: tealeaf @ deadmen.co.uk and I will post them for you.

When you think about your design then remember some of the practicalities:

- it is difficult and more expensive to print a full colour t-shirt, so a black & white or two colour design may be more practical (but if it is a stunning full colour design it may be worth the cost)
- don't bother with very extreme detail - when it is reduced to fit onto a t-shirt or mug etc then the extra work you have put into it will be lost - KISS - Keep I Simple Stupid!

May the design competition begin; we look forward to seeing some interesting entries!

Ok not sure what this is supposed to look like but what the heck...

I looked at slowhands but i didnt want mine to be confined to the circle/box format.  



This is what i was originally thinking, think its too plain though, unless like Mies you think "Less is more"



Looking at this now, i notice the on the left the 'background' grey has a straight edge and is a little dark...i can change that.

Much as the above work is admired and appreciated, I've not seen anything that I think will transfer well onto the type of products we were thinking about.  I've not made a final decision yet, but that's where I am at the moment.  Any last minute submissions need to be in no later than this Friday.
