Mayor Ken Livingstone has today concluded a new deal with a German manufacturer to produce London transport of the future.

Said Ken "I hope that we can put the past three weeks behind us and move towards the future knowing that London will again become a safe place for Tourists and Londoners alike".

Although there will be some redundancies under the new proposals, the Unions for the Bus and Tube workers, are confident that it's members will find alternative work within the new collaboration
