The SoG Molten Core raid has gathered real momentum this week and has been a great precursor to LAN VIII.  As of Sunday we were still struggling with all the new members to pull the tactics and coordination of 40 people together into coherent and effective action, but this week we started a little betterK killing Lucifron, Magmadar and Gehennas on Sunday, knocked off Garr on Tuesday and then rounded the raid off by killing Baron Geddon, Shazzrah, Sulfuron Harbinger and Golemagg the Incinerator last night!  The epic item drop total for last night was a very satisfying 13  :dribble:

So SoG has now proved to itself that we can make it all the way through the first 8 bosses.  Next time the instance resets (Sunday night) we will be trying to repeat the 8 boss kills and then move on to boss number 9, Major Domo.
