FM 2006

So does anyone else like the CM/FM series? Paddy and I have been playing them for years (me since CM on the amiga).

Just ordered mine from play.com for £24, it just gets better with each new version    
So addictive its been cited in a number of divorce cases  :blink:

Yea im a big fan of cm/fm series, i have gone away from champ manager now and stick to football manager, ive ordered it and its been dispatched, should have it 2moz

Problem is im a Bury fan, and it takes me 8-20 seasons to get anywhere

Does everyone use the same starting point? Crap local team trying to go for glory? (Farnborough Town for me)

Farnborough isn't a town :blink: , anyone who has lived in that general area will tell you it's a Coven of witches, druids, wife swappers and child beaters who have been interbred for centuries.....even Tesco's won't go there!! :ph34r:  :ph34r:  :ph34r:

Yep I only play FM too, CM sucks now. Paddy and I are Hull City fans which a few seasons back used to be a real challenge as we where crap. However after two consecutive promotions to the dizzy heights of the Championship I'm sure it will be... still bloody hard  

Thats what I love about FM, its a challenge whether your playing some obscure continental division or a Newcastle etc.  Saying that I'm just finishing a Newcastle game on my laptop and I'm 3rd highest in the hall of fame after 4 seasons  :whistle:

Actually I can't let modesty get in the way... I'm bloody brilliant at this game
