Game suggestions

Sorry to start a thread rather like the one that's already here - but this is specifically about the games, rather than timetables and schedules and what not.

I can' t see us having time fo more than four different games over the course of the weekend (what u think?) - so which ones?

CS | BF2 | xxx? | xxx?

...It would be nice to have something that's NOT shooting - we mentioned a racing game, and in that case the candidiates might be:

1] Live for Speed, and...
2] GT Legends (which all the BIG guys have just bought from Play.com at £18).

Another game that might be nice is some sort of RTS or AoE or CIV?

A couple of people mentioned Unreal Tournament last LAN - and I notice Quake 4 is coming out! (Or Unreal Tournament 2004)

Finally, someone mentioned a footy game...Which sounds a laugh (although I haven't really played these).

BUT - for me, I am hoping 'Ghost Recon 3' will be out next February!

Anyone have any suggestions or do any of the above interest anyone???

So, we could be looking at something like this:

1) Counter Strike: Condition Zero (or is it Source you play?)

2) BF2/'Special Forces'

3) Racing game: Either LFS or GTL

4) Quake IV


???

(I have actually loaded up CS:CZ onto my PC!!!! LOL - but I'm still too scared to actually have a game with anyone!)

I think me and Ron at least would be up for some LFS.  I will bring my crap steering wheel - mono might do the same, not sure.

Wanna be careful though, its a slippery road down into the realms of blocky graphics and outdated textures.   ;)

Yep - BIG-Dewey already has a really flash wheel - BIG-9Slice has just bought a Logitech wheel, and I am buying one next pay day!

We may need more tables at teh next LAN! LOL

Well, dumb in the sense that I most likely can't afford it  :rolleyes: especially since I have to buy a new computer case for the LAN. I'm sure the one I have now will not be allowed inside the plane, and I'm NOT going to check it in  :blink:

Mono, I've got a DFP they are brilliant you'll love it  :D  I'm sure all the BIG guys would be up for a game of LFS  :D
