Just a  little lesson to me that it's definately not winning that means the most in BF2, it's how you play the game...

Got myself onto TG last night (late) - and joined a really lively squad (of the usual suspects!)...

Fantastic voice comms - excellent support by everyone and a great squad leader giving plenty of encouragement, praise where deserved and a stream of orders.

We had a terrific Zatar Wetlands, but were on the backfooting throughout the game. Even so we really enjoyed ourselfs defending our 'zone'. And really did a good job (IMHO).

[What dragged us down as far as I could see was that; first, there was too much squad bunching, where multiple squads went for the same objective, and secondly, our team did not have a 'roving' mobile squad picking up the enemies back flags when the oppotunity arose.]

I really enjoyed the banter - and it makes me feel more and more that we - dMw - should organize an official 'away day' night over to the TG server to experience 64 player non-AAS. Maybe Tuesday or Thursday next week...

Anyone up for that?

We are ALL for a dMw night - but sometimes it's nice to have a change, and it's good practise for us.

If we only ever play us, and no one else, how do we know how good we are?

HAHAHA!! Perfect :)

Would be good to see you guys for the euro night, but similarly I would love to see a DMw night set up as well, that way us euro-TG'ers can have a euro-away day and come and raid your server too :D

I agree. I'm up for a Wednesday night TG away night and perhaps ask the TG guys to play on our server on say a Sunday night?

delanvital

I came from TG to dMw and it is always great fun to play there. However I don't have that much game time at the moment so I will stick to dMw :)

DuVeL

Currently when I'm, playing BF2 it wont be much. Making loads of overhours.
Monday: 11 hours of work, Tuesday and Wednesday the same. So hopefully untill things get a bit more quiet here I wont be on any TG server, sorry. Wednesdays is CS:CZmatchnight aswell.

Wednesday and Sunday nights are CZ match nights and I would hope that they would take priority over "away" nights ;)

Whilst we're on the whole DMw / TG chatting - fancy setting up another scrim sometime?
