Your work is appreciated!!!    :D

Does this mean we will have a BF2-AAS-SF game? Will the server run both?

I have just installed the SF addon....

Liberator has just sent me the file for BF2:SF AAS :)

I shall place it on the server either tonight or tomorrow (hopefully tonight).

(...Oh - and the dog, but she doen't care...As long as I remember to let her out between maps!)

Do you know how lonely it is driving around 24 maps on your own capturing flags in order sometimes a few times a map to make sure the changes I've made work and I don't leave things too unbalanced?

Do you?

Bloody lonely thats how lonely it is.

Oh well, good job I've finished then!

Damn, I'm out getting drunk tonight.

Oh well, let me know how it goes.

I will probably be back in and online after 11 so if you are playing it I'll join you.

One thing I didn't do was translate all the CP's into French and German (its part of the coding), so I hope you all use English within the game.

I'll look at the config files and see if I can find the names embeded in there, just to finish it off in case we share it with the rest of the world.

I'm doing this for your dog, not you :)

The SF AAS config file kindly created by Lib has been uploaded and activated - just waiting to get in touch with OB to find where he put the batch file for starting the SF server :)

Armitage

how is it going, will it be up for tomorrow?

Many thanks for getting this done...

A bit disappointing that more didn't join in (just Lib, Dewey and myself - so Lib switched the server back to vanilla BF2 and more joined then)...

:(

I hope more will feel like getting SF ~ because the daylight maps and new kit are great fun.

Dewey and Lib caught me totally by surprise at one flag last night by ZIP wiring down from a huge chruch tower ~ I saw them do it but just stood and watched! It was amazing!

I think far too many people have concentrated on teh night maps element (which as many have said is deisapponting)...The daylight maps are terrific so buy it if you haven't already!

I really hope we will be having a set 'SF night' on the dMw server and that the rest of you will come along.

Whats even more amazing, is that I wasn't on the server last night. I was out getting drunk.

But Oldie was on, so I think you were playing with him!

LOL - soz.

Must've been Oldie - Not used to seeing him on foot, that's what confused me!

Never mind Oldie - the BMP in SF is NEARLY a tank! :)
