I emailed Mark Rein (VP of Marketing at Epic Games) to register my "lack of satisfaction" :)

He replied and has passed my comments on to Bob Bates (Co Founder and Studio Head at Legend Entertainment). He hasn't replied yet ;-)

What umm how come unreal 3 is out when u r talking about unreal 2? Did i miss something or is it something different between the versoins? Because i can get unreal tournament 3 for thirty quid...

Now I'm confused

there's Unreal Tournament 2003 which is multiplayer

and Unreal 2 which is dreadful

I don't know of any Unreal 3  :?:

in that case why is unreal 2003 30 quid????/35 in some stores
As unreal 2002 is 35 the same price and is only single player it makes no sense

I have no idea. They say they wanted to create two diffeent games, one designed for multiplayer and one for single player. The only thing they have in common is that they take place in the same universe and (I think) use the same engine. Effectively they are two completly different games.

They argue that most multi-player add ons to single player games are done as afterthoughts and are never that good.
