Did anybody take a screen shoot of the end scoreboard?

most of us got binned straight after the "us won the fight" message came up at the end of the fight

I came into this world with nothing,
through careful management I\'ve got most of it left.

sound like I missed a cracker.

how long did the match last in the end. I saw you played 600-660 tickets, must have been a marathon.

Game lasted about 1 and a half hours but we didn't swap sides coz that would have made it about 3 hours. I was knackered but twas good fun.

Final score was about 120 - 0 IIRC

Funny - it seemed longer!

Probably because it was so intense.

One of the problems I found playing with two squads was the inability of squads to talk to each other and so co-ordinate tactics (although - to be fair I would say that as I was on the loosing side! LOL)

I was on TG the other night and had a superb commander who co-ordinated the squads (mainly to stop squads going for the same objective).

...Have we had a thread discussing the possibility of a 'commander night'?

Anyway - this is my only niggle (and it ain't a biggy). It was a fantastic match - was nearly expecting Karkand 2 because of the big hints on the forum about downloading it.

:)

Thanks to the organizers.

Ranger.

It would be easy to set up teamspeak just for the SL's on tournies wouldn't it?

Yep, that's a good idea - we should try it out...

Maybe (and I admit now that I don't exactly know how TeamSpeak works) we could have channels JSUT for teh SLs and then other channels for the rest of the grunts.

One thing I do remember about the last time we tried TeamSpeak was the horrendous comms clutter and everyone tried to talk at teh same time. I couldn't make out who was the SL and what the orders were.

Maybe (and sorry if this sounds corny) if the used somes comms code when he spoke so you knew who to pay attension too?

Like: "SL - take the Hotel." (The prefix denoting this is a SL order).

In saying this I freely admit to being a culprit who attempts to give orders when I am NOT SL! (I like to think of it as advice - but I can see how it can confuse people, so sorry).

Myself and Norm were all set to use TS, but then we were told we couldn't just B4 the game.

Our intensions were to have it as our SL channel only, so we could talk about you behind your backs. :D

So yes, we were going to use it, but we didn't!  :(

I think this is the best way of doing it, use BF2 comms for the squad and tS to allow SL to coodinate, that way it doesn't get too cluttered and shouldn't impact on slowing the game down for the rest of the squad.
