Well, my opinon is probably a bit biased. It messed up my Battlefield 2, prompted an expensive memory upgrade(where I already had 1GB), and I haven't bothered to play it since. It'll take some effort to get into it after that hassel

I think the BF2 community are divided on their opinion of SF. Some like it some don't. I guess it depends if you think the cost is worth the extras you get with the SF expansion. Also bear in mind theres two booster expansions coming out in a few weeks though these are about £6 each.

Personally, I've gotten a lot of enjoyment out of BF2 and still play it a lot, so I don't mind paying for extra stuff, so I'll be buying the new expansion.

However, I think the real problem is that as more expansions come out it fragments the BF2 community .. ie you go on a server and they are playing BF2 > SF > European booster and not everyones' going to buy all the expansions.

Of course there will always be our BF2 AAS games on the meathook.
