List of configs

Here are the ones I know about so far:

mr12.cfg: Sets the server up for an MR12 match, including match password.
mr15.cfg: Sets the server up for an MR15 match, including match password.
training.cfg: Sets the server up for pre-match training with the standard Meathook password.
lockdown.cfg: Freeze players to allow sensible discussion prior to a match
freetogo.cfg: To undo the above
ready.cfg:  Put up the "are you ready" messages prior to a match and before 2nd half, requires AMX.
3rrlive.cfg: Do 3 restarts printing out the informational and live messages, requires AMX.
3rrl.cfg: Do 3 restarts printing out the informational and live messages using, AMX not required.
server.cfg: Puts server to non-MR12/15 settings and sets the password to standard Meathook password  (Think the only difference from training.cfg is that it doesn't change the server name)
3rrknives.cfg: Do 3 restarts printing out the informational and live messages but stating it is a knives round, requires AMX.
3rrk.cfg: Do 3 restarts printing out the informational and live messages but stating it is a knives round, AMX not required.
sgl.cfg: Sets the server up for a Suicide Gaming match.  mr12.cfg should be used to set the match password first.

I did a little edit to clarify things. My changes in bold. Oh and added one other cfg

as we have had a really annoying loss in a recent match with pausing ... just what is the best command to pause..... then unpause the server .... WITHOUT  having a server restart

Where's the problem?  Is it because your choosing 'pause' to stop the action and 'restart' to start again?  Choose pause to pause and choose pause again when your finished.  Restart will restart the server as it does any other time.

Well, as said on the posted match for this Sunday: I'll try and do the adminning during the match, hope it all will go well. Maybe a rundown on executes before the match might be easy.

The following is what I normally do:

An hour before the match (or as soon as I join):

Code Select Expand

rcon exec training.cfg This will allow anyone with the Meathook password to join.  
Remember to run it at every map change.

15 minutes before the match:

Code Select Expand

rcon exec mr12.cfg  (or mr15.cfg, this will set the match password)
rcon amx_off
rcon amx_nextmap de_inferno_cz
Once everyone is on:

Code Select Expand

rcon exec ready.cfg To start knife round:

Code Select Expand

rcon exec 3rrk.cfg To start match:

Code Select Expand

rcon exec 3rrl.cfg

Don't worry aboit screwing things up, just go on whenever you got 5 spare minutes and try them. :smile:
 
 
Something we don't come across often but need to know is how to pause the server without amx being on.
 
rcon pausable 1

Once thats done you can then use the pause key to pause, make sure you set it back to 0 to disable people pausing the game.
