I'm so chilled

The other day I decided sod it so I bought my water cooling kit on the credit card 8O

Got it set up. The pipes are still a milky white in appearance oweing to the millions of micro teeny tiny bubbles in the system. Right pain in the ass they are, only time will fix that. Anyways, the system performs well with only a 3-4 deg C diff between idle and loaded CPU.

One bit of advise I can give after all this is if a midi-type case has loads of blurb about being able to fit the EU surplus of hard disks in it dont use it with a water cooled rig! while those bays look nice and handy they are just the wrong size for everything!

In the end I had to burcher the case a little, the radiator had to go in the roof (as opposed to the bottom front. Then the resovoir had to go in the top too as its supposed to be the highest part of the loop in order to trap those pesky bubbles.

yeah, its even possible me tubes will of rid themselves of those pesky bubbles so it don't look like I'm using bull's giz as coolant :biggrin:

nah ill try and get u a link.

cant rember where i just seen some really cool stelthed drives for that case,
basically i meen putting the rom drive / floppy drive behind the facias that come with the case

what you need to do is add some dye (maybe the water wetter does this?) to the water, and then get a black cold cathode. That would be cool
