Tier 1 vs Tier 2

Luthor has been talked too and still feels that the upgrade devout to tier 1 isnt big enough to bother with it (he would gain 2k mana and 600 health)

so id recon this is the good time to add the 5 minimal tier 1 rule.

any other inputs?

His comments went along the lines of the below (copy typed as I could not cut and paste).  I think he has missed the point.  I have mailed him back in game and reminded him to look at Furydwarf or Luna's profile as an example of how 'little' and upgrade we are talking about in mana, +healing and health.  I have told himt o think again and await his response.

To my mind he has misunderstood.  He has said yes to 3 (wow!) pieces of Tier 1 and then said he will actually be focusing on getting Benediction, Tier 2 and then Tier 2 - adn THEN, after these, will pick up 3 pieces of Tier 1 to please us.  Hmmm,  :angry:

In the mean time the raid carries him, his raid mates die when he runs out of mana and health and his heals do less +Healing than everyone else.

I have concluded that yes the set is an upgrade but imo would be 640DKP wasted on so little an upgrade that it would be a shame. I know how the officers feel about this and I will thereby buy some of the items, focusing on 3 items of the set as I already have better pieces for BWL aspect on hands and sholders imo. Will I be passing on those at least. Well the items is not a secret and will be as follows.

Boots of Prophecy
Girdle of Prophecy
And then either Vambraces of Prophecy/Robes or Prophecy

Please let me know if the officers think this is unfitting for me and why. I will for my 1st priority try and Benediction, then Halo of Transedence (because I wanna waste enchants on gear I know won't last long) and if the leggings of transendence ever drops I will be getting that as 3rd priority. After that Tier 1, unless some unexpected BWL loot drops for me.

I think thet is god rule but we shudent DE Tire2 sets if thay dont meat the standard

Well, my main concern is that those that worked their asses off to get their tier 1 sets, might not be so happy about him skipping it and taking "their" tier 2 sets. Even though I am not particularily after tier 2 (due to sucky stats), I know I would think it unfair if I did all that work just to see someone else get their tier 2 before me.

I have edited in the 4 Tier 1 items into the raid rules as discussed on TS.  All we have to do now is remember to enforce it.  Should we bump the Raid Rules topic to show an update in the rules and make members aware?

You know that excludes Kreuz from being able to get tier 2? Though he might not want any maybe we should have room for ppl having gear with equal or better stats then tier 1. But I don't know. Just keep it as it is for now though, and bumb it up top.
