The other thread got closed. However I take it that was due to the irrelevant discussion. I have taken the liberty of creating a new one.

BB, you call that the worst ping you have ever seen. Still, 50ms from Denmark to UK is okay? DuVeL, or someone from abroad. could you post a tracert? I would like to see how many hops you do to the server and what is your ping? Some proof to give to the TDC folks when they tell me to shut up  :D

the timing is ok but why the hell do you go through half of europe to get there is beyond me  :blink:

Yeah I hope I'll get a useful answer. This is by far the best ISP here. If not, I don't know what to do  :( other than stick with 'em.

I'd be willing to do a tracert if I knew how to do it and save the file....

type:

tracert 87.240.138.21 > c:\trace.txt

should create a text file in the route of your c: drive - just copy and paste to a forum post :) NB it may take a while to run so don't panic :)

There should be a file called trace.txt in the root folder of the C: drive.

Off-topic: I wouldn't be to proud of that badge in BF2, usually it's not that good. I must say that I haven't been back yet to BF2, back on CZ for now.
