I do not slate XP. Apart from the  fact that the install process is riddled with plugs for MSN, .net passports and the like, once it's on your PC and all the nonsense has been turned of, it's a very good OS.

I slate Microsoft... there's a difference  :)

I make up me own minds just dont like the os used it on one of my other machines screwed it up well bad had to reformat it seems it didnt like it ahh maybe for the best.

and the fact that 'System Restore' is probably the best thing mr softy has ever released.

Though you do sacrifice some hd space, it more than makes up for it if you trash your system and are able to just 'roll back'
