If you scroll down the forums a bit then you'll find the topic for dMw's ninth LAN party to be held later in April. There are a few places left, so if anyone is interested then please use that mouse wheel and slide on down to the dMw LAN IX topic. It's being held in Cambridgeshire a week or so after Easter, for full details please go read the forum topic!

That would just be sooooo cool, since I'm not going to The Gathering this year. But sadly, all the way to Cambridgeshire would be a bit too expencive for me at the moment, and as well since it's a week after easter, it'll be hard to spare the time due to exams and stuff

But I guess this is not gonna be the last dMw LAN, so I hope to be able to go there some other time

hmm.. well is there a way to rent a pc suitable to run games in the uk?

cos ime not willing to ship my pc to the uk to attend a lan

(and when exectly in october? )

Dates not confirmed yet G, but they will be posted soon after this LAN.

As for space PCs, quite a few members have spare PCs and if you look in the LAN section you'll see that there is a thread for those coming in from abroad to request the loanof a PC ro a bit of equipment whilst they are over here. Quite a few bring uber laptops too as some of the latest ones really can kick some backside in gaming terms.

well, since ime on mimium wage :/ i cant really afford to buy a kickass laptop, all the investments go to the pc i have

just spent around 600 euro on just the scard and the speakers :/
and around another 100 on a mouse..
