FTP, MySQL & phpMyAdmin Login Details

Website logs will appear in the /logs/ folder. I've only setup the dkp site so far, and that data will go in /public_html/dkp.silveroakguardians.org/ (you can delete the index.html from there as it is only for testing)

Message Forwarded From Drazila Log in DKP site.

Ok i didn't find a way to make a file copy of the database that i could access but i found a way to copy it directly from the host to another host.

First you need to log into the siteburg site via SSH, address is same as DKP site sog.siteburg.com:22 for the SSH access

Username: sog1
Password: DAVE1302

next you need to run the following comands

$ mysqladmin -h 'other_hostname' create db_name

other_hostname would be the new DKP site hostname and the db_name the name of the database you want to create(if the database is already created no need for this command)

$ mysqldump --opt -u sog1 -p -h database sog1 | mysql -h 'other_hostname' db_name

same as above with other_hostname and db_name. you might need to add -u username and -p password to get access to the other host.

Database Password: 3TIp9fak


let me know if this works if not i guess i will try putting up a SQL server at the student house and directly copying it to that database

Just a quick reminder; I figured this was the most relevant place to put it:

The new DKP site is that database is backed up each night and then ftp'ed to an offsite location for extra protection.  So we should be a little 'safer' than we were with our Russian friends

Ive got a few backups and i think/hope bastet is doing the same a few times each week.
The ones i got is on my PC atm, where do you think we should upload it? the abigail server?

the new site is covered by the DMW auto backuping system so i dont keep backups. Also i havent a clue what i am doing with in the master directory, so i keep out there as much as i can

Changes tot he IP for the FTP etc have just been made - the first post reflects the new details.  DNS changes have been implemented and are now propogating.  Please check they work ASAP (once it has propogated) and come back to me if there are any problems.  Proipogation can take up to 48 hours.

and there where a few css files that came standard to that one, never used anything else i think.
