Gh0st Face Killah

Most enjoyable map. You have to be very sneaky as a ct as it is somewhat biased towards the ts, did like the idea of swapping sides so we all had a go playing both sides. Didn't stop me getting smegged by all and sundry!! excellent fun!

I only got a couple of rounds in last night so I'll reserve judgement but....

I think this would be a map that the CT's could do well on if they move slow and speak to one another. I'm a gulity as the rest here, but there were several occassions where firefights were underway and we had no idea where. If as soon as a CT makes contact witth, or even just spots, a T they immediately call it out, we would all have a better idea of whats going on. This would be true of the T as well I supppose.

I ended up alone as last CT on the map, and although we had made contact with the T's (obvioulsy) I had no idea where they were camped.

Like I say I'm guilty too, but lets stay in touch out there.  :wink:

This map played MUCH better tonight.  We had a real good match between CT and T.  The map forced us to play real good PCS with excellent voicecoms.  Thoroughly enjoyed it tonight  :D

Got to play T tonight and as the CT's were obvioulsy co-ordinating with voice....we got mullered!

Also played it as a 2v2 with Slowhand, Doorman and another chap (Bunt?)
Plays quite well as 2v2 suprisingly. It's very similar to Rio but a better map. Good for sneaking about.

However it's easy for this to fall into death match mode.  Players tend to move through the map solo, picking off targets from a distance. It's quite easy to loose touch with your team and unless you use comms a lot you have no idea what's going on.  With silent radios it's just a case of creep about till you spot someone. Shoot them and move on to the next encounter. Still a better map than rio

Yeah, it was like that in cs_rio as well.

I agree with Smilodon. cs_rio is much better than this pile of rubbish TL seems to think is a suitable map for PCS  :wink:

You are all very cruel...I'm very very ill right now and need everyone to be nice to me. One small mistake and I get no end of ribbing. :(

This map (being rio) is Ok but not as good as Mog. Both maps play very similar and therefore I think only one should make it to the rotation. We do need a map like this for sneaky PCS play, we just don't need two.

Rio always played well, even without PCS rules (heresy I know, but it's true).

Problem is if you further restrict the Ts boundaries you'll simply end up with them camping the hossie house every time.

However, perhaps banning Ts from the footy pitch house might enable CTs to launch sneak attacks at the Tradesmans entrance to the house (ooh er, matron).  At the mo this isnt possible because you get seen by the Ts spawning in that block.

Now we've played this map for a few days now, the gap between the T's advantage on the CT's has reduced alot. I think the more we play it, the less the difference will be. I think the boundaries seem about right. Well done on that TL.

Good map and a lot of fun but CT's have got to take their time and communicate more than on other maps to identify where T's are camping. I also think the map is biased towards T's especially around the hostage site.

Just a suggestion but would the map be fairer to the CT's if the boundary as in Sadako's picture were moved back so that the buildings in front and to the right of hossie area were the boundary and then extend around to encompass the Toilets? (I know you are all trying to imagine this now and saying "what the hell does he mean!!")...........

If the boundary were moved back thus I believe it would perhaps resemble an Italy style map

T's would still have the advantage in terms of the CT's having to come on to them (no Smiley, not "hello sailor, do you want to see my etchings?") but the CT's would then have an opportunity to give cover from (K) and the buildings to the left to those brave (or is that stupid?) souls that might attempt a rush on the hossie building.

T's would have an L shaped defence pattern to the inner sanctum and provided they held the other side of the toilets (football pitch side) and the back passage (no Smiley, not "hello sailor, do you want to see my etchings") they would still have the marginal edge but it would perhaps make the map more competitive tactically.

ps ...and before you ask "young" Chimpy...a thrupence was 3D (or old pence as in pennyappeny [read carefully you old uns, it does make sense]  converted to decimilisation which of course you couldn't have so was rounded up to 2P - 25% increase and we never said a B****y word at the time!!) before 3D meant something else!!.......b****y progress....B****y politicians, B****y Americans!!
