PLAYTEST - Feedback on cs_rio

As mentioned in the Mog forum, and having played them fully as T and CT rio and mog aren't really that similar (just initial impressions).

It's been mentioned before by me and others but if you don't talk on rio you won't win. CT's can win this one other than by brute force as long as they call out when they either sight or engage T's (as in real life I would assume).

It's actually growing on me as a map

Out of all the maps this and Shogun are definately my favourites with mog following closely behind. Good choices there admins.

good map but a nightmare to decide what the boundaries are becasue so amny little hidaways that could/couldnt u get a way with.... I like the football pitch and the little score on the wall that actually works gotta have a ct vs t match i think it might work (cough)

Like the map. Not sure about it for PCS though. A definite maybe.

Played last night as T and found it easier to remain as a group around the hostage site but the CT's played well and gave us a good going over which has altered my first opinion in thinking it was T'ist biased and shows a well organised CT team can win. Teams were numerically balanced. Although we got wacked most enjoyable map.

Played this map quite a bit on various servers and I must say I like it. It can be very T orientated if CT's don't use voice comms and work as a team.
Two main approaches for CT either sneak around the buildings keeping to the dark spots or go via the roofs. Roof route requires speed to get to the main map area and then down into the buildings. Speed along the roof route makes it hard for T to pick you off and once you're down into the buildings Ts don't know where you are.

This worked on N42 so I see no reason for it not to work here.

I'm soo used to playing this on the by customs server, where the T's can rush a bit more, although they rarely get far. Good map, nicely put together, loads of camping spots :D knife kills will abound
