Ofc somthing might happne. Oh and i think we should change the attendance in RG1 to 5/6 over a 2 week periode. Not 2/3 in one week.

Agree on that one! i really think there should be a consequense for having a low Guardian attendence, Guardians are imo meant to be hardcore raiders, not casual at all, we have above 40 Guardians and not 40+ show up at 19:15 each raid day, that is really crappy i think.

Im just curious are the Officers in fact monitoring people's raidattendence? In that case, are there currently planned any consequenses?

Ive been watching the DKP site lately, and my raid attendence is going drastically down due to the RG2 raids which i offcourse cannot attend to because im saved with RG1. Maybe a solution for that matter is coming up, i dont know, just wanted to mention it.

Sorry for being an ass! i would just hate to see the same thing happen again, which occured during our trial Phases on Razorgore (Really low attendence)

Luthor, hoping for future improvements

My point was only that you can't start making conclusions about too low attendance based on just a few raids. I'd say you'd need at least 2-3 weeks before you can say that it's time to recruit more members :)

Maybe, the timescale is not short anyway, it's more a feel for how long members who want to raid will put up with regularly turnign out for SoG when not enough turn up.  We need more raid balance, we need better attendance and I very much hope we get it from RG2 and to a lesser extent RG1.  I am sure the current short term absences for exams etc will challenge us, but we will remember this when we review the situation (which we do on a regular and ongoing basis).

Just asked for mainly the same above Kreg, just with other words :D I AGREE

Siffredi

I totally agree to you kreg! - people should be better to show up at the raids. Personally i think people should be demoted to soldier, if they do not attend to a certain % of the raids. With the option of getting promoted again when they are willing to dedicate themselves to RG2 again. We need more stabile players, who raid allmost everytime. Otherwise things will end up just like last night, where we have perhaps enough players but are very unbalanced and random in the raid. If we can make sure that we have stabile players, then we will have succes.

Just my opinion... :D
Siffredi - 60 human warrior
Zentobar - 60 NE rogue
Sirzoidac - 60 human paladin
Sanhomadun- 60 human priest
Nibsen - 60 gnome mage
Digales - 43 gnome warlock
Siffer - 36 NE druid

The balance will come in a raid group where:

- we insist everyone turns up all the time and we restrict membership to lower numbers per class
- we do not insist on high attendance and recruit sufficient numbers per class that average attendance is high enough to meet raid requirements.

We currently aim for the latter as RG2 was originally set up to allow those unable to commit the higher level of attendance and time demanded by RG1.

SOG RG3 COMING TO A PLACE NEAR YOU![/SIZE]

You were 38 ppl JT? Well if i hadnt gone to Rg2, you'd be 39, counting in Menedil we've been 40 ppl.

My opinion is that we should just wait, and lets try making it work out by itselv, if not lets recruit. I dont have anything to do with this directly, but just wanna say my opinion.

We where 27 when we started with ony, then we where 30 untill RG2 called it a night then we got 2 alts and then we whiped on Sulfron. So no we where not 37.

But i said that we have almost enough lvl 6 players for 3 raid groups. We have 110+ lvl 60 main char. I do not want to start counting them. So im guessing a bit here but still :P

Circumstances Circumstances. I'd much rather have some time with low attendance( no, im not fond of it i hate it myselv) but alot of our members are students, and alot of us are getting our exams, or wth you call the "last" tests before school ending. If it keeps up, lets then recruit the needed classes. Or If you make the guardian spot harder to maintain, people will show up because they are afraid of loosing the spot. If it was no rules noone would bother, because they've just keep their spot nomatter what. When a specific thing gets limited "everyone" wants it , and just see how high our attendance boosted after we got guardians.

The fact of the matter is, people are discovering real life once again :P
Sinap - 85 Human Warrior
Yarena - 85 Night Elf Priest
Xiaa - 83 Human Mage

Deadlyspirit

Maybe I am wrong in what I say now, then corect me.

As I see it atm. Maybe you shoud make the hardcore raiders of RG2 up like guardian status aswell to see who is really in this game and want to raid.

And as there allready is said, make it abit of consikvens for guiardians not to be there for raids. ofc still with the like 2/3 raids or so. And ofc still things can happen in RL that stops you from being on at the time needed. This is ofc a thought for the 40 man instances.

But ofc this is just my oppinion.

And sry for the bad spelling.
Deadlyspirit 60 G Mage / Naturpower 60 NE Druid
XpiRai 60 NE Warrior / Deadlyblow 60 H Rogue
 Holylight 60 H Priest / Holy 60 H Paladin
Shadowforce 60 H Warlock / Deadlything 48 D Hunter

Sebas

Lets hope that this shortage of players will be an exeption to the rule.

And a very large raidgroup means lots and lots of different players and classes everytime. The gearing up is than also considerably slowed, to a point where you just get stall and that isnt good, have seen that before with me old guild
But yeah ill be online more, need to adapt to the different raiding days.

StrontiumDog

Just a thought, but why not stagger the MC raiding days so RG1 and RG2 are not raiding it on the same day (thurs).

Therefore if RG1 is low in numbers they can upgrade people from RG2 on a class need. Then when RG2 goto raid there is a good chance that those missing players from RG1 could raid with RG2 on their MC night.

Just a thought...

StrontiumDog

Oh while I think about it, those concerned about attendance %, should remember that because RG2 is using the same DKP page it affects your attandance rating. You can't attand both raids now can you ;)
