i think you allready did that for us TL m8, we should ask menedil for the system he uses, and set it up for us too (depending on admin rights setup we could even do the AQ/ZG on that system too, so we can keep everything in house)

Well let's do it properly.  

Menedil is apparently re-writing the tool to work 'properly'.  The outcome may ro may nto be what we want to use, but either way his work may take some time so we need to do something in the interim.

In the mean time we could set up a sign up on our own hosting of what already exists and transfer all raids onto it.  This means a system to which all admins have access.  This allows us the sharing of control and retention of data within the officers group.

At least with a sign up we can have a system whereby we have an idea of who is going to be available and whether or not we will have a raid.  I don't like sign ups generally (as many people cannot guarantee until very late whether or not they can make it) but it may be th eonly way to allow us to plan in the short term.

Tanales - what are the options to set these up?

As an aside, we have some people in the Guild who are now regularly doing the job of an Officer for unnofficial raids.  I think we need to include these names in a wider discussion about appointing more Officers, or quasi-Officers to share the workload for both RG1 and RG2.

afaik hes rewriting it to be more user friendly, and to remove all that junk where you can put in 1,000,000 FR and so on. still it might be worthwile to talk to him since he allready has some experiance w/ that kind of system.

Also w/ non officers doing officer work your meaning kreg/luna/mene?

More Luna and Mene than Kreg, Kreg might be doing something behind the scenes, but I  don't *see* him doing anything tbh.   I just think we need to start spreading the load as  the work is currently an overload imo.

Whether we have a 'junior' rank of officer (that'll please Kreuz as he'd be senior again) or wether we just have one big group of officers I do not particularly care, but I think it is worth considering.  Also in the mix would be RG2 members for Officers.  

RG2 officers or Luna/Mene might be a reason for having two ranks of Officer as we could set up different sections for them and either give them access to all topics in Officer section or just a limited range.  dMw for example have different tiers of 'management' and as you go up the tiers you get to see more, but at the lower levels you just get to see wha tyou need to see, nothing more.

And kreg does a shit load of work behind the scenes, luna / menedil lead and kreg does a lot on the work of masterlooter and so on. i think in actual work that kreg does the same if not more work then luna / mene

might need a rework of the guild ranks though, that will not be too swell for vargen...

Attendance is a real PITA at the moment.  Whatever it takes we need to do.
