vBulletin supports a number of systems to automate a subscription process.  At the moment this means we need to consider Paypal, Nochex, Worldpay, Authorize.net, 2Checkout, Moneybookers & CCbill.

Paypal Charges
(Merchant Account - you cannot do a personal as we would exceed the number of transactions per year via credit/debit card)
Monthly Turnover
£0.00 GBP-£1,500.00 GBP    3.4% + £0.20 GBP
£1,500.01 GBP-£6,000.00 GBP    2.9% + £0.20 GBP
£6,000.01 GBP-£15,000.00 GBP    2.4% + £0.20 GBP
£15,000.01 GBP-£55,000.00 GBP    1.9% + £0.20 GBP
above £55,000.00 GBP*    1.4% + £0.20 GBP
International transactions are marignally higher.

Nochex
(Seller Account)
2.9% + 0.20p per transaction

Worldpay
Application Costs:

    * Set-up Fee: £200
    * Monthly Fee: £30 each month (first month payable upon application).

Transaction Service Charges:

We charge per transaction for the following:
Internet Merchant Account

    * UK Debit cards: £0.20 - £0.25 per transaction.
    * Credit cards: 2.4% - 2.9% per transaction.

Payment Processing Service

    * UK Debit cards: £0.18 - £0.25 per transaction.
    * Credit cards: 1.35% - 1.6% per transaction.

Additional Charges
    * Additional Currencies: Domestic currency provided as standard part of Internet Merchant Account. £50 per additional currency.
    * Chargebacks: due to the costs involved in reversing transactions, WorldPay will charge you £10 for every chargeback.
    * Settlement: Settlement in GBP for a UK bank account is £0.35. Settlement to a bank account outside the UK and in local currency is £2.50.
      The minimum amount that can be settled is £10.00 in GBP, and the equivalent of £100.00 for all other currencies.

Authorize.net
All resellers of the netpay system are US based and it doesn' look like it is appropriate for us.

2Checkout

# 5.5% of Sale Amount

Moneybookers.com
Payments from the Moneybooker account to the dMw current account - €1.80
Charges €0.50 capped per transaction plus 0.95% for currency conversion for $/euros to GBP or 1.3% if other countries.

CCbill
Transaction Volume: 0 - 5000 per month - 14.5%
Higher transactions get lower charges.

Conclusion:
We have previously used Paypal so I would intend to offer this again.  I also think the MOneybookers & Nochex offerings are good.  

I have today set up 'dMw' accounts with Paypal, Nochex & Moneybookers.

I have activated these three payment options in the Admincp.  

All that remains is to figure out how the heck the admincp handles everything and how we set up subscription access!  We also need to go play with the CMPS and get it into some sort of state where it is usable as a lot of the play text is just no longer relevant.
