I found this whilst trying to sort out my x-fire woes (couldn't see most servers)
QuoteWe released a patched version of 1.56. Here's how to re-update your client.

1) Make sure you have exited Xfire. Pull up Task Manager to be sure xfire.exe is not running.
2) Open your Xfire directory (default is c:\program files\xfire), and locate a file called Xfire.ini.
3) Double click xfire.ini to open it in notepad.
4) Find the line that says Version=56 and change it to Version=55.
5) Save the file.
6 Run Xfire, log in, and it should automatically update to the 'new' 1.56 version!

If you want to check that you have the 'new' version, go to the 'Help | About' menu in your Xfire client. The version number on the first update was 19739. The 'patched' version is 19803.

It sorted mine :D
