Now i know we had some odd stuff happening the last few weeks (us not killing ragnaros for a few times, ppl taking stuff they will propably never use) that bothers me, but i figure, hey its not worth getting pissed about, i know i play this game a ton, and i get quite pasionate about it at times, even get into arguments from time to time. All of em get talked about and let go pritty quickly, cause afterall its still just a game.

Now us not allowing alts in raid is something i would like to see changed (heck i had one awsome time in MC last nite, best fun i had in ages in MC) and id like to reopen the discussion sometime soon. But in the long run its just not worth getting really fussed up about.

Same goes for us not killing ragnaros, i know there is a lot of frustration among cetrian classes in paticular (druids any1?). And i can understand it, but like last nite we couldnt have done it in any case. Sure i want to kill him too, but there is a limit to what we can do, and 30 ppl w/ only 2 mages is just not gonne happen.

Now if we really want to make the point clear that we wont stand up w/ half the raid skipping MC, then set up a rule that MC will get done, no matter what, even if we have to sacrifice half a BWL nite, frankly i wouldnt care the least bit about that, gives us more time to build up the gear we need for nef, and we will probably still be able to get chrommy down.

As a side note, All the frustration can be let out by bitching on TS against others (officers preferd / officers channel) by making rant posts on forum (like this one) or abusing officers channel, or directly whispering officers (like i did last nite to Vargen and Tanales, as i prefer to keep an clam outward appearance). There is also some stuff we just CANT do as officers, i am thinking about last nite here and the false loot link, that pissed of so much ppl and i got so many angry whispers i was honestly ashamed of beeing an officer there.

now the point of this all is: If you are beeing frustrated fine, but FOR TANGOS SAKE dont vent it in a bad way w/ the apperant aim to piss off as much ppl as possible. Work out a solution that does work. Set up rules, and follow them.

Nice post bastet..... its good for conversation and ofcoz i just have to reply on a post like this

Im ALL for ALTS as long as they dont interfere with the completing of the task at hand. Which is why im NOT for ALT's in AQ f.ex. since many of the ALT's dont cut it, but in MC with a limited amount, its just fine

The whole raid a long yesterday, it was VERY apparant that we werent able to kill Ragnaros, and if we dont kill Ragnaros, there is NO idea in killing Domo since he respawns anyways next time. Therefore the Calling of the raid, was undoubtly correct

QuoteNow if we really want to make the point clear that we wont stand up w/ half the raid skipping MC, then set up a rule that MC will get done, no matter what, even if we have to sacrifice half a BWL nite, frankly i wouldnt care the least bit about that, gives us more time to build up the gear we need for nef, and we will probably still be able to get chrommy down.

Yeah im in for that. As much as i'd like us to progress in BWL, we shouldnt be slacking in the core areas where the Guild needs to go (ie. MC). So we could consider making MC attendance = BWL attendance. This is a drastic thing to do, but sometimes, drastic measures needs to be done

Hey, the false loot link was not that big a deal i thought, but then again im not so much into loot. I do however think that Vargen's kinda childish behaviour in the end of the raid was uncalled for, and he of all people should be able to react differently even though things didnt exactly go his way.

I've been thinking about this one for a while, and we might take an approach to MC where we as officers, and the guild, stand behind Vargen and therefore we will keep doing MC until his Pants drop. We need to support eachother really!

Maybe its time to try to web based sign up form for the 40 man raids, or impose other rules that will make us succed in all raids not just the newer and interesting ones ?

Also think we should consider making Soldiers legitimate to raid even though they dont have to or have a commitment. We apparantly need them in the raids, and therefore it should be allowed for Soldiers to come in, and if we dont want to give all the loot from MC to a certain char, then impose a rule saying MAX. 3 items pr. night. F.ex.

Not filling the empty spots in the raid with Soldiers, because we have a rule saying we cant, is just plain stupid

If more ppl think the same about this then i wouldnt mind to take it on myselfs to set up some rules (dkp / priority / number / invite system) and raid with my warrior a bit more, was kick TANGO last nite :)

I dont question the descission to call the raid, there was nothing we could have done, i thought it possible if we had some reinforcements which didnt came.

I agree, and a lot of ppl still need items from MC, mostly ragnaros. The drop rate for some pants are really apoaling. I am all for doing this at the cost of BWL, if we where to set it up so that we would finish MC regardless of BWL that MC attendance would go up quickly

Well it might not be that big a deal to you and me, we dont really want anything from MC, but gorion for one is really pasionate about tunderfury, as was JT about TOEP. Heck, how would you feel if you wanted an item for the last year or so and when you see the link pop up in chat coming from your raids ML, only to see that the ML was dicking arround a line or 10 later? Id sure as hell be pissed beyond belief.

Well the whole loot thing was a bit out of line. But it should also be apparant that a dead ML can't check loot. Hell taht was my main reason for doing it. I died when everyone was up because every time the banish broke, the add whent straight for me. So I stood next to it in bearform in stead of running around with it. No way is cast time for banish THAT long.

And for getting pissed about not killing ragnaros AGAIN! Don't you think it's bad enough that the TANGOing tier 2 leggings don't drop. Now we can't even get to the boss to have a chance at them at all.

If Vargen is not here, we wont do MC. He is the person that needs the thing from MC the most. Therefore i vote to move the rest of MC until tuesday. Its so stupid to do the rest of MC if Vargen is not there

KreuZ

I  think that's one of the stupidest things I've heard, if Vargen's not there then not do it? It's not really like he's the only Druid missing his leggings and it's not only Druids that are missing stuff from Ragnaros. So if you'd like to continue MC on sundays then do it even if Vargen isn't there. More loot out of the way so we can finally stop doing that crappy instance.

Padding

We have a choice here. Do it when Vargen is there or not. Therefore i still say wait until he's back. Personally i probably wont even be playing sunday, so its only to help Vargen get the pants. Its not like i ever heard any other druid complaining about not getting the pants.

Bastet

That doesnt mean they dont want it, just that thier are less vocal.

Btw any objections to me setting up some alt in MC rules or stuff?

I'd like to see what you can come up with Bastet. Lets have a look at it on the Officers forums before the public one tho  :D

Lets confirm that we are doing MC Speed run thursday in the Public Forums btw, and lets do the rest of MC tuesday, and Regular BWL sunday/Tuesday as well

Vargen

You don't need to wait with clearing MC just because I'm not there. What pisses me off is that ppl can't be TANGO'd to show for MC but are more then happy to sell their mom to go with us to BWL.
As there are still 10 druids that need or want Stormrage legguards (Only counting those that still raid), I don't think it is fair to "move on" just yet.

All I can say is I am *way* glad I was in RG2 last night.   The Ts I got from JT about the TOEP and the whispers I got from those interested in Bindings were unbelievable.  I'm just hoping life returns to normal RealSoonNow™ as exams etc finish.

I am therefore minded to defer the speed run until after the World Cup.  Despite suggestions to the contrary last night on TS, I think the World Cup will hit attendance, so a deferral to July is for the best in my mind.  It gives us time to sort out the pots/elixirs requirements properly.

Wil be moving in the near future, hoping it vont interfear with  the raiding.
