TFT monitor

Does anyone know what this is?? :dummy:
My monitor keeps flashing out it look asif it is on sleeptimer or so but sleeptimer is turned off. At first it did this sometimes but now i allmost can't get it to stay on??
The whole screen turnes black?
Sometimes it does stay on for sometime and then for no reason it turnes off? :eyebrow:

THe tft screen i have is an Syncmaster 910mp from samsung.

A wild guess, but the monitor might be out of range, frequency-wise. However, then it should give a warning.

Might also be a driver-issue. Have you tried reinstalling drivers for your graphics card?

This is an monitor were you can also watch tv on and then it also does this. :ranting:
And it just sundenly started with it. :angry:
Sometimes it goes ok and then it keeps popping out turnig black???

Does the monitor get very/too warm at the back/or near the outlet vents? Find a chunky fan (big fat house fan preferrably) and point it at the intake vents at the back of the monitor. If this solves the blacking out then your monitor it overheating.

Try (gently!) wiggling the connecting cable to see if that could be where the fault lies too, or try alternate video inputs eg s-video or composite?

My samsung monitor is picked up by samsung and they are checking it out now, beacouse it is not even 1 year old so.
Look like a real good service beacouse i even got 1 to borow.

The service was verry good by samsung.:thumbsup:
I got my monitor back(quit some time now) and it looks ok now.
I only woundert about one thing i never heared from samsung again.
I don't know what they did???
