The Officers have been struggling to maintain Guardian attendance at satisfactory levels and have therefore been examining attendance. In particular we looked at attendance over the last 16 raids.

We realise that some people have had a difficult time with exams, computer meltdowns and other good reasons to be absent. It is difficult for Officers to remember everything that has been said to them about your own absence, so this is why we are writing to all members whose attendance did not meet the required standard, asking for your comment on your low attendance. More importantly we need to know if your attendance will change from that over the last 16 raids.

Please could you let us know why you did not meet the required attendance over the measured time frame? Our apologies if you have already posted it or told us, but it really does help us to have it ina single PM from you for ease of reading!

looks good, could you possibly also look at the alts in MC/OL thing and make some spelling check and possible revissions?

We could also ask them to give they opinion to as how they think we could change something to make things better, like killing nefarian f.ex.

The *only* thing this is intended to do is to poke those with low attendance.  It's a message that should slap them in the face like a felt lined brick.  If they don't shake up they will be moved.

If we want opinion on how we can make things better then we can ask, however you need to be careful hwo you do this otherwise you all too easily end up in a situation where you then have to justify every decision you make to every member and to show why you ruled out specific solutions and adopted others.

Just remember that the current system still allows them to join for only BWL raids, since we only want them to have 2/3 raids a week

Not showing for MC = Gamble that you get in to BWL to make your 2/3 raids pr week.


With current attendance  you can do this. But  the system does not allow it, lack of ppl turning up allows it. The system is not as flawed as you  want it to be.

We made this sysstem to get the more commited ppl to show. When we did not have a RG2 . We made it to ensure that we got ppl turning up for BWL as all showed up for MC. We limeted the numbers so that all the guardians vould more or less be guarenteed a spott and some of the defenders could get in the raids. Now we are whining when we have to fill 5 spotts with defenders that are better geared then the old defenders we had when we started this.


No offence intended, but  you are repeating the mistakes officers in this guild have done before. Wanting to make things better ,fixing it by new rules , listening to all who complain promesing to fix it (tho if it needs fixing is yet to be seen).
Don't be to eager to promise changes, and if reading the forums get you down(unhappy to be an officer) take some time off from listening to the whiners.

paddmeister, if you look at the numbers there is out of 48 ppl only a single one that is not doing MC as much as he does BWL. the rest all does as much mc as they do bwl, or even more..

My text wasnt meant to be downward, just point out the fact that if we want attendance for MC and BWL alltogether we might need to consider bumping the guardians to a higher number for example

That would surely mean too many people, but atm we dont have the necessary attendance in Molten Core and that was just a point i wanted to make

well we should put up a poll and run it for a while asking if they want more attendance or more members, that way what ever is decided its thier choise and its harder for them to complain about it, and pritty much eazyer for them to accept. I am sure TL wouldnt mind drafting somewhat to go w/ the poll. (now it shouldnt be too much of a bother to just ask now should it??)

If you guys want we could talk about it for a while before tomorrows raid, or tonight, ill be arround most of the time anyway.
