I turned in my post-graduate thesis about two and a half week ago. Up untill than I'm very aware that I didn't meet the required raid attendance for a period - and for that I am truly sorry. It might also have been that I missed two raids just after the turn-in, but for the last two weeks I mean that I managed to be at 2/3 raids.

From now and through the summer, things will at least not get any worse. I will most likely be able to attend 3/3 raids all the time, perhaps only once in a while 2/3 - but nothing less!

I hope this was the answer you hoped for, and I hope you'll manage to sort things out.

To all the officers: thanks for keeping this stuff together! It is highly and deeply appreciated

Over the past month or so ive been workin away from home and also living away so ive not had access to a computer that has wow on it etc so i cant play. I bought a laptop for the sole purpose of having access to the internet and wow away from home, and now i have just set up wireless here so i can play. As the summer kicks off though im gonna be working a lot of the time, and when that happens i think ill have to change down to defender, but until then ill be able to raid on tuesdays and thursdays, but not on the sunday because i work weekends atm.

Hope you understand the reason for my absence and that its acceptable

The reason I have not got 100% attendance is down to two things.

1. Last week I was away on a mountain biking holiday.

2. All other raids I have missed recently were down to the fact my working times have changed for a few weeks.

To clarify point 2, I used to work a hift pattern where I would only miss 3 days out of nine, however due to a temporary manning problem in work I am now working 4 days on, 4 days off. which if lands on a mon-fri i work 12 pm to 12am, and at at weekend its 10 am to 10 pm.

When it falls during the week I cannot make the raid or join the queue. However at the weekends I always make sure I log on a join the queue even if there is no places, which I dont know if that is monitored as attentending.

I have been told that this working arrangement maybe for only another few weeks and as I have a 2 week holiday in scotland coming up next week maybe back to normal when I get back.

well firstly 16 raids is like 2 monhts? and i was recently given the chance to raid about a month ago. anyhow i doubt my attendance is gonna improve hugely since i am working shifts, whenever i got morning shifts i can raid. sometimes i got 4 morning shifts in a row and i can raid for a week, sometimes i got a weekend free and i can raid. its pretty damn hard for me to say when i can raid or not raid atm since i only see 2 weeks ahead for my shifts;/ but there is indeed 6 hunters and 5 slots. i dont want to lose guardian since i am very passionate to raid with rg1 whenever possible. i got the gear. i come in every raid prepared. and i never do "autoshot" i allways do my best.

anyhow if you feel you need some1 who can raid all raids at all times i guess you need to consider that option, cos honestly atm i cant give you it cos i need the moneyz. but if you can hold on to a hunter who raids whenever possible and contributes 5x the other hunters in a raid plz consider that option as well. il go along with any decision made on my part with no hard feelings.

nothing sounds totaly unreasonable to me, but yet we are short. gonne keep a close eye on it for the next couple weeks and do a bit of math when i find the time to do it

Not sure how the numbers are worked out, but having looked at the dates I attended, I have missed only 4 raid nights since 19 May (I assume that updates on wed, mon, fri are from previous days or something).

These dates are Thurs 1st June
Tues 6th June
Thurs 15th June
Thurs 22nd June

And attended 9 (see dates on dkp site starting from 19/05)

attending 9 out of total 13 is approx 69%, not too bad considering (and here we come to it )

New potential gf, 2 mates splitting up from 5year+ gf and moving in to my house for cheering and sympathy, mucho job random aggro (fortunately I still have one now), work colleague dying, still getting over father's death.

Not sure why dkp site shows such low figures considering.

Anyway, I think you'll agree that the above things shouldn't be recurrent

As a suggestion, maybe some people are bored (you may be annoyed at that but it can't be helped) maybe some guild pvp (BEFORE midnight) or guild raids of horde towns or something, ANYTHING. Personally I don't mind going to MC, and I love BWL, but they are more appealing maybe after going and kicking some horde ass the previous raid day, something interesting. Additionally, If (as happened) a mate comes over crying saying omg i'm single, wth do I do, oh shit' I'm not going to say, wait till midnight, I'm raiding. Similarly, If cute girl comes over and lies semi naked on my bed... Well, I would expect you to kick me from the raid if i tried to go raiding.
