I have been asked to write more in here on the marshals side og the forum, to inform ppl that way.

Lately I have hold a open eye for ppl never showing up for raids, and tryed to contact them. To see if they still want to raid. Here is a list of ppl I am not to happy with what goes for the att.

Odesa - Priest dwarf - Will not play anymore
Nefrion - Rogue - Dont play anymore
Snuz - Mage - Have not talked with her yet about it.
Elenionet - Druid - Have not talked with her yet about it.
Priori - Hunter - Have not talked with her yet about it.
Cadriella - Priest - He dont play anymore.
Deathbringer - Warlock - As far I know has he changed server.
Mirianna - Druid - Dont know what has happen with this one.

I will try to contact them as I see them online and plz feel free to do too, if you see them before me.

Another thing is I woud love to see more att. from RG2. On thursday I can get about 40-45 defenders, but when it gets monday I can have about 30 denfenders. I know that RG2 so far dont have any rule for attendence. But maybe that shoud be changed for RG2 aswell. Something like 3/4 or 4/6.

Beside this. I am no way sure how many RG2 members that read the forum, so I have just made a post that ask all RG2 to make a post if they read forum every day or every 2. day.

Link for who's defender - on the forums

So we might wanna demote some of the inactive people and get new fresh ppl in RG2?

And as for Deadly's suggestion about letting RG2 get an rule of attendence would might be a good thing. Make rg2 more like a secondary raid group, instead of a raid group with some "way too casual players" (people that dosent give a damn about the wellfare/progress of RG2 and dosent fell obligated to show up 2 times a week)

So something like 5/8 raids á month required from Defenders? - Or an automatic demotion will trigger?

Odesa - Priest dwarf - Stoppe playing, is fed up with wow. Demote
Nefrion - Rogue - PC problems. Not sure when he's back. (Good gear)
Snuz - Mage - IRL problems. ex-bf had deletet her mage. Demote.
Elenionet - Druid - Barely ever joins raids. But I feel like she has some speciel deal with SoG?
Priori - Hunter - Dosent show up, we can demote him for sure. He hasent got the time for raid (know him irl)
Cadriella - Priest - Stopped playing. Demote
Deathbringer - Warlock - 20 days since he last logged.... demote
Mirianna - Druid - long time since last time. Demote

Mazii

Nefrion - Rogue - PC Problems, but he'll be back sometime soon as hes computer are being made atm (IRL friend)
Dynastar - Mage - Raiding end game instances with hes Guild on he's main char. Demote

Greatdanes

Odesa - Priest dwarf - Sad to hear she is stop playing. Demote
Nefrion - Rogue - Demote (can always get promote again if/when he comes back)
Snuz - Mage - Sad she got RL problems. Demote.
Elenionet - Druid - Demote
Priori - Hunter - Demote
Cadriella - Priest - Demote
Deathbringer - Warlock - Demote
Mirianna - Druid - Demote
Dynastar - Mage - Demote
Yliana - Hunter - has not raiding for a long time now. Demote

But who is this guys:
Suria - Druid
Soari - Warlock
Can't remember them, my bad I know.

And as for Deadly's suggestion about letting RG2 get an rule of attendence would might be a good thing. But I will like 6/8 system(á month) for there Defenders.

Btw is there a soldier list aswell the Defender/Guardians List?

The Field Marshalls met last night to discuss things and one of the issues raised was the possibility to bring in an attendance requirement for RG2.  This needs discussion before any changes are made and you need to make yourself aware of why RG2 was set up in the first place to give you the 'history' or context for RG2 is it is today (forums have all the posts).  You then need to decide what you want RG2 to become and then look at how it evolves into that.

As far as individual attedance goes you do need to speak to those concerned.  None have special relationships with SoG, just be your usual courteous selves and all will be fine.  When you have their response then consider how to act.

For RG1's part, one of the risks we see to RG2 is for RG1 to 'steal' your best members when we lose an RG1 member.  If this happened RG2 woudl be stuck on Ragnaros/Razegore for ever and would not progress and this is not fair.  With this in mind we are considering drafting something to announce that we will open our recruitment policy to bring in people from outside the Guild directly into RG1 with very high spec requirements.  More discussion to be held here as it does start to put some space between RG1 and RG2.

Please discuss attendance requirements here further - Field Marshalls will jump in to the conversation too, we need to develop the issue, the possible solutions and the way forward as soon as possible.

Aye we need to take this to further discussion.

As TL stated we could make an open topic for all RG2 members to read, where we state our thoughts, and let them reply. Then following their suggestions / oppinions we progress either forward or not.

6/8 attendance req. How are RG1's rule atm?

I would love to see RG2 as a real raid group.

And TL the idea of recruiting RG1 members from outside the guild with high req. is also better than grab a RG2 member with none or some BWL exp. + full T1. This will also mean you have to spend more time "learning" these new ones.
The dark side of this, is that you could risk getting some arses in RG1, but this could be fixed within the "initiate" time.

So lets hear some more from you guys.

Comment to Greatdanes - I think Soari is starting to play some more, but not sure. Suria could be his alt? :) - but dont think so, never seen this one attend raids.

The RG1 rule is about to tighten up but the 'new' standard hs yet to be confirmed.  We previously asked Guardians to attend 2 raids out of 3 over a period (period was left undefined to allow us flexibility), so come to your own decisions on what is needed in RG2.  Just remember the background and history to RG2.

RG2 *is* a real raid group, but I know what you mean.

Btw, the we are also going to call all raids over the SoG Meet week.  You may wish to do similar.

/Agreed on this one, and on the upping requierments on attendence on RG2 raids, cause it should be quite easy to attend raids 2 times a week. And if we want to proceed the good progress for RG2 we need to have stable members that understand and listen to tactics.

I very much like the process were going though here. cause this means that RG2 is not a stepping stone to get to RG1 but are more a seperate raidgroup with its own life :D
Siffredi - 60 human warrior
Zentobar - 60 NE rogue
Sirzoidac - 60 human paladin
Sanhomadun- 60 human priest
Nibsen - 60 gnome mage
Digales - 43 gnome warlock
Siffer - 36 NE druid

TeaLeaf

When we started we needed a stepping stone.  But I think things have matured and evolved a bit since then.

the current guardian attendance is 2/3 and for Raidgroup 2 i would not go beyond that. Allthough this will probably mean that quite a number of spots where to open up on the raidgroups. we can always work our how too go from there. preferably id like to see for RG2 a 2/3 or 4/6 attendance system. remember that the current system was thought up months ago and will need a massive overhaul soon, we can do this on teamspeak on a thursday before the raid, or maybe on another day so we have a full nite to discuss.

edit as for the ppl playing, send them an ingame mail and if they dont reply to that promptly i would have no problem demoting them.

I just talked to Nefrion in the phone, and he said he was on hes way to pick up hes computer - and now it should be working, so no reason in demoting him yet :)

Sazgul

Looking forward to getting Nefrion back   :)
