1Q2003 - Which maps have been kicked out?

u have just scrwed it up big time, u got rid of my 3 favourite maps
cs_assault
de_prodigy
de_cbble

how cud you, those maps are teh best (assault a little 1 sided tho so u can get rid of that 1)

but prodigy and cbble rock i'm very dissapointed

Tbh i can't believe some of those maps that have been removed and still we end up with god forsaken piranesi and chateau.

Piranesi? I agree JB. It seems hard to accept that we share DNA with people who didn't vote this overblown pointless eye candy off the server. Still we all live and play in a great big cuddly democracy, so you have to take the rough with the smooth I guess.

wild west assault sucks, t's cabnt go anywhere without being snipered by some ct camping on the roof, oh well looks like i'll; have to camp in the hostage room, nope get scouted and then 2 cts just drop down from the roof, its to ct based i suggest these assaults

and for some fun purposes get the map fof on the roatation thats the fairest map u'll ever see except hu ever buys quickest drops down and nukes the opposite teams base

ooh guys, a couple new assault maps to add to the rotation for our assault night fiasco next saturday!

after that I think we need to have another rats night fiasco, the last one was a HOOT.

Just a reminder peeps - the reason the Admins added a bonus map was because you the members had voted out a larger than anticipated number of maps. When CS1.6 comes out it will have a few maps included, so the number in the rotation will go back up a bit. In the meantime we were padding the map numbers so we didn't have too few.

Let's give it a wee while to bed in and see how it plays long term. After all, you voted cs_drugwar, de_volare and cs_intercept into the rotation last time and promptly threw them straight back out at the next map rotation review :lol:

First of all, Yes this map is harder on the Ts than assault was. So? Improvise - adapt - overcome. This map was discussed enormeously on Network 42/Tactical Gaming. The discussion was mostly related to that it was hard on the CTs ... :!:

Yup you read correctly.

You say that you get sniped wherever you go. Sure the CTs have some good spots for sniping into the hostage room also to snipe from the skylights overlooking the main building.

There are many good spots to shoot the CTs by skylight on the ground level. Use that it is dark.

The sniping of the hossie room, well, there are 3 good positions in the hossie room where you can't get sniped at. Don't forget that your objective is to hinder the CTs from rescueing the hostages. You do not have to kill all CTs to win. If the CTs spend 2 minutes on the roofs trying to snipe ... let them. That means that they have 2 minutes less to save the hostages. Not a problem as I see it.

But what if this map turns out to be too hard for the Ts? We the admins will keep a watchful eye on how this map plays. If needed we could always extend the boundaries of the Ts e.g. they are allowed on the roofs. As of now I see no reason at all.

If you still don't like playing T on this map go CT. If I am CT I will switch with you. Don't cry if I kick your ass.

yeah yeah ur got ur little mac 10 camping in the dark then u hear "come on lets go" cts have got in the hossie room and ur forced to move and some little gay with a bullpup spots u crawling along the floor u try to retaliate but ur shiity mac ten bouches around and hs ur own team
