i liked that map its rather unique to ths server and i only get to play it on thisserver not any more though it will be missed

Yeah - I was surprised about Roadhouse.

Whats the general feeling on the map - I never heard any negative comments when people played it.

It was very balanced and quite original.  Shame.

Assault is great, but so one-sided it was getting stupid.  You could see some people (me included) making a mad rush for the T team when it started, so as not to be blamed for choosing the easy team later on.

Hope WW plays better.

Rushing first or last ... does it really make a difference? You should always switch sides when a new map comes up. Irrespectively of what map. If you play CT on the current map you should go T on the next except if the teams are unbalanced at the end of a map. Then you have to make sure that you don't unbalance them on the next map. The last guys to join should always check the scoreboard before joining.

And if it is so important to be on the winning (or easy) team then the player should reconsider his/hers PCS attitude.  :roll:

Don't foget PCS is supposed to be fun and challenging.

All this agreeing with Sadako.....people will start to think that I'm just his biatch!
I rarely get the luxury of connecting first to a map change first so I'm always looking to be a team balancer.

However it's a bigger priority for quality players to to be very careful about which team they choose than weaker ones. Arguably someone like myself won't have as dramatic effect on the balance of play as Frenzy for example. We should all make the effort to play in the spirit of PCS but if your choice of team is going to have a huge impact on the play then the concideration should be that much greater when you pick a side.

i.e smilodon + (3xdingo) = frenzy/2  (Sorry Dingo couldn't resist :wink: )

Grabbing a slot on the easy side is just naughty, and as far as I am concerned there's a lot more sense of satisfaction playing on the weaker team. It offers a greater challenge, teaches more about the game and for muppets like me helps to explain why my scores are so crap..."Oh I always get bad scores cause I always play on the weak team honest :wink:  :wink: ."

I'm usually guilty of joining the attacking team so that I dont "accidentally" go out of bounds :roll: but if there are already established teams on the server then I join whichever side has the lower score.

On most maps its more fun to be attacking imho. CT  on assault was almost always the better game, although I kinda want my awp for it It depends if I'm in a camping mood :camper:

ROFLMAO ...after nearly 1 1/2 years i have never seen Darkangel/Deathwarrant as CT on Assault.
Oh how he used to love spamming vote assault, vote assault, pick assault and Admin please change the map to assault only to join T.
