The wife was invited (and me) to Wimbledon today, in one of IBM's hospitality suites, backing onto No.1 court.
The day starts well with the waiting staff making sure my champagne glass was never empty, then a nice varied luncheon before having to choose between Centre or No.1 court tickets. A quick look at the schedule and we took our seats just in time for Sharapova (no camera, only my phone) to end her second set 6-0, before smiling sweetly and blowing kisses to the crowd :dribble:
Watched Roddick struggle against Tipsarevic before afternoon tea and back out to see Tipsy finally crumble, after Roddick began to throw a strop and start to lose it.
Unfortunately, we had to leave before Hingis played ( :ranting:  :ranting:  :ranting:  :ranting:  :ranting: ) but glad to not have spent a penny all day.

Obviously, the Mrs' company paying IBM £500K a year helps to get these things.

so much more fun when someone else is paying! Corporate hospitality do's with free booze thrown in tend to be rather fun :D

sheepy

Sheepy appears and begins to stroke my head. According to his slurred drunken speech I am "lovely and like a fuzzy felt". Thankfully he soon leaves and passes out somewhere. [/quote]
