I had a go at a server called the above mentioned. Game-wise it was okay, until I ended up in a squad containing some TOK's. I played their style, I stuck with 'em and for once a squad with comms.

But I was concistenly referred to as a trainee/n00b and was obviously more of a nuisance. I did my best to assist the squad and imho I think I did quite well. Spotted a lot, defended the anti-tank players a lot from infantry so they could take out tanks etc. After a while I was simply kicked. Not because I did something wrong, but imho because I was not used to their way of doing things. I then joined another squad - and the same occured after a while. They were perhaps a tad better than we are in the sense that they have a higher routine in the maps, good spots etc, but vis-a-vis the enemy probably less good. I played the game to the end, and left a comment there, but then my connection dropped  :ranting:

My point is, for once a server with good comms, teamwork, and skill and yet I end up disillusioned by their ignorance and arrogance. How dMw shines!

On another note: On the other side there was a non-TOK squad, one guy called something along the lines of "B. Sveeberg" or something - and they were absolutely scary. One guy would lure me of one direction, very discretely done, and another would shoot me in the back. They kept doing that to all players. As a 4 player squad they were unbeable. They took any flag they wanted. Must have had great comms!

I so want to say something, but what do you say? It makes you despair doesn't it? We are and oasis of calm and sensiblenessness in a crazy world.  :dmw:

I've been there before, sometimes it's better to start your own squad as clansquads can be very anoying. If you're doing well they sometimes just kick you from the squad to make room for a clanm8 but when you check again there's still 2 places left in the squad.
I've got a server which I used to play on a bit before my BF2break. I'll give the IP when I'm at home.

They did it to me a few times and I saw them do it to others, so I don't think it was coincidence. They also got the top score by far, but not only kills also with some effort in supporting points.

Yesterday I played Wake as usual but on a new server: They wiped me out. I played the map three times and was either at the bottom or second from the bottom, out of 22 players. My best round was 2 assist points, 0 kills and 21 deaths  :( On the fourth and last time I played I got 5th from the top, but only because of loads of assists and a lucky round in a tank, where I found a good spot inside a base, where tanks not usually are :) I need more praccy!  :(
